This shows that we are still fighting inflation and by raising interest rates, less individuals and businesses would take out loans thus slowing down the circulation of money. Slowing down the circulation of money is a tactic the Federal Gov. uses to cool off the economy which they have done a great job with because our economy is almost ruined. What else could this mean? This could also mean that the rates won't increase again for a while.

In "What's Stopping You?"
Every entrepreneur has had fear, they still do. But what separates the successful ones from the dreamers is they don't act on fear and they don't let fear get in the way. Tips on how to get over fear: Identify why you're scared. If you can understand the root of your fear you can address it effectively. If you can't find the source then it's all in your head and you have to hurdle that. Take calculated risks: business is all about risks but it doesn't mean that you should take every risk. If you're taking calculated risks, you will feel more confident in your choices. Focus on your strengths: Identify what you're good at and what you're expertise are. Ladies and gentlemen, don't let fear get in the way, face it head on and get past it.

Let me explain. You should start a business so you can learn more and through that, you can provide value to others. When you're passionate about learning you can always find a way to bring value to others. Here is an example: I started my clothing brand because I wanted to learn how to connect with wealthy people, improve my financial literacy, learn about how clothes are made, how businesses overseas are operated, how social media works, and how to communicate a story to people. Through this whole process, I have learned that owning a business changes your vocabulary because you start talking like a business owner whether you're a small brand or an already established brand, and that itself gives you credibility leading to doors opening. I also wanted to learn about the different steps of manufacturing clothes. Whenever I'm at a clothing store, I don't look at the price, I look at the manufacturing process of that shirt to determine if I would buy it or not. I've learned that business overseas is completely different from business in the States. China is a manufacturing country and the United States is the consumer of those manufactured goods meaning China makes goods for us, we buy those goods from China, then we re-sell it here and it has a lot to do with cost efficiency and cost of materials. My communication skills have improved, I've been able to close sales for my clothing brand because I was forced to talk with more people. All this has allowed me to bring value to my customers because they aren't buying a denim jacket, they are buying a lifestyle because I was willing to learn and tell a story through my brand. Moral of the story: Start a business that will force you to learn selfishly and in return provide value to others as you learn.

I just read about Biden Biden punishing those with higher credit scores on The Washington Times: https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2023/apr/18/joe-biden-hike-payments-good-credit-homebuyers-sub/ News came out that those with a credit score of 680 or higher will have to pay a fee on their mortgage if they buy or refinance a mortgage after May 1st to subsidize those with lower credit scores seeking mortgages. Also, those who make down payments of 15-20% will get crushed with the largest fees. I think this is absolutely terrible for the economy and this nation. People who can't afford houses will have a better chance of getting approved for mortgages and those who contribute to society now have to serve a punishment for their hard work. This will cause another housing market crash. Get ready!!! Would love to hear your guys' opinions on this! How bad will this be for our economy?

As a business owner, I've started using chatgpt and it has saved me a lot of time when it comes to tasks for my clothing brand. It can writeme captions, it gives me ideas for content, and overall cuts down time I used to spend on tasks. At first, I felt guilty using it because it seemed like am escape from the work, kind of like being lazy. But it's really innovating within a business. Don't feel guilty for using a new tool that comes out because others will use it and they will get ahead. If you don't innovate, you don't win. You can't run a business in 2023 using tools from 2015 because times have changed but I do have a question that I have been dealing with. How much should a business use AI? Because if you use it too much, you won't improve on certain skills but at the same time you can gain other skills but if you don't use it, you're going to get left behind. Other business will become more efficient and cut down on their expenses. What is the balance when it comes to using AI in your business? Would Love to hear your responses and how you guys have used AI.

I struggled with discipline. I was very lazy, unmotivated, and took the easier choice that would have been catastrophic down the road. I changed all my lazy habits when I realized that discipline is a choice. You have the choice to get up and work on your business or hit the gym. You also have the choice to sleep in late and sit on the couch all day. It all comes down to the choice you make and you have the power to make the right choice. As I stated earlier, I built discipline when I realized that it's about the choices I make. What helped you overcome being lazy and build discipline? Your tips and stories are very valuable for those in this forum.
